Advantix spot-on solution for dogs up to 4 kg
Spot-on solution for dogs up to 4 kg. Eliminates fleas, ticks and biting lice. Repels ticks, mosquitoes, sand flies and stable flies. Reduces the risk of transmission of leishmaniosis and ehrlichiosis in dogs.

Target species
Dogs

Active ingredient
Each 0.4 ml pipette contains: 40 mg imidacloprid, 200 mg permethrin

Indications
For the treatment and prevention of flea infestation (C. anis, C. felis) and for the treatment of biting lice (Trichodectes canis) in dogs. Fleas present on the dog are killed within one day of treatment. A one-time treatment prevents further flea infestation for 4 weeks. The veterinary drug can be used as part of a treatment strategy against flea allergy dermatitis (VAD).

The veterinary drug has persistent acaricide and repellent efficacy against infestations by ticks (R. anguineus and I. ricinus for 4 weeks and D. reticulatus for 3 weeks).
By vecorteek R. sanguineus repel and kill, the veterinary drug lowers the risk of infection with the pathogen Ehrlichia canis. This lowers the risk of ehrlichiosis in dogs. It was shown in studies that the risk-reducing effect begins from three days after administration of the veterinary drug. The effect persists for 4 weeks.
Ticks that were already on the dog within 2 days of treatment may not be killed and remain attached and visible. Therefore, it is recommended to remove ticks already on the dog at the time of treatment to prevent them from attaching and taking a blood meal.

One treatment provides repellent (anti-feeding) action against sand flies (Phlebotomus papatasi for 2 weeks and Phlebotomus perniciosus for 3 weeks), against mosquitoes (A. aegypti) for 2 weeks and C. pipiens for 4 weeks) and against stable flies (S. calcitrans) for 4 weeks.
Reducing the risk of infection with Leishmania infantum via transmission by sand flies (P. perniciosus) for a period of up to 3 weeks. The effect is indirectly due to the activity of the veterinary drug against the vector.

Contraindications
Do not use in puppies less than 7 weeks of age or 1.5 kg body weight.
Do not use in cats.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or any of the excipients.
