Indication
For the treatment of:
- Lungworms: Dictyocaulus
- Gastrointestinal worms: Trichostrongylus , Cooperia spp.., Ostertagia spp.., Haemonchus spp.., Nematodirus spp.., Bunostomum spp.., Oesophagostomum spp.., Gaigeria spp. and Chabertia spp.
- Liver bot: Fasciola hepatica.
Contraindications
None.
Dosage
Oral administration of 10 mg triclabendazole and 7.5 mg levamisole hydrochloride per kg body weight, corresponding to 1 ml of the veterinary drug per 5 kg body weight.
Special warnings
The following situations should be avoided, as they promote the development of resistance and may ultimately lead to treatment that is ineffective:
- Too frequent and repeated use of anthelmintics of the same group over an extended period of time.
- underdosing, due to underestimation of body weight, improper administration of the veterinary drug or a dosing device that is not or improperly calibrated (if applicable).
Waiting period
Meat and offal: 42 days.
Not approved for use in ewes producing milk for human consumption, including during the dry period. Do not use within 1 year prior to first lambing in ewes intended to produce milk for human consumption.
