Indication
For the treatment and control of parasitic infections in horses caused by:
Gastrointestinal nematodes: Large strongylids, small strongylids (including benzimidazole-resistant strains);
Oxyuren;
Ascarids;
Stomach worms;
Strongyloididae;
Skin nematodes (microfilariae);
Hornets;
Lung nematodes;
Dermatoses caused by the skin larvae of Habronema and Draschia spp. and by the microfilariae of Onchocerca sp. (skin onchocerciasis).
Can be used during gestation and lactation.
Contraindications
None.
Dosage
The recommended dosage is 200 µg ivermectin per kg body weight, administered once orally. Body weight and dosage should be carefully determined before treatment. The syringes intended to treat horses up to 600 kg have calibrated markings at intervals per 100 kg body weight. The syringe must be adjusted to the calculated dosage by placing the ring in the appropriate place on the piston rod.
The veterinary medicine is intended for single oral administration to horses.
Directions for proper administration
Loosen the knurled ring by a quarter turn and slide the ring up along the piston rod so that the side closest to the syringe is on the desired mark. Secure the knurled ring by turning it back a quarter turn. Remove the plastic cap from the tip of the syringe. Ensure that the horse's mouth contains no feed. Insert the syringe through the toothless space (the opening between the front teeth and molars). Press the plunger, thus depositing the medicine on top of the tongue at the back of the mouth. Immediately after administration, lift the horse's head for a few seconds.
Recommended parasite control program
All horses should be included in a program of regular parasite control with special attention paid to mares, foals and enters.

Waiting period
Meat: 18 days.
Do not use in mares producing milk for human consumption.
