What is Halapur?
Halapur is a combined detergent and disinfectant that derives its efficacy from a quaternary ammonium compound. The agent is used in the food, recreational and healthcare industries, among others. Halapur combats bacteria and yeasts, which makes the detergent and disinfectant particularly suitable for cleaning and disinfecting relatively clean surfaces, for example in laboratories. It is also used for disinfecting areas where people stay and in the hospitality industry.
Halapur has a short incorporation time. Among other things, it can be used with a foam lance (at low pressure), producing a solid foam layer that adheres well to vertical surfaces. The cleaner and disinfectant is non-corrosive on metals and other materials. The disinfecting action of Halapur is based on absorption at the wall of microorganisms. This changes the permeability of the cell wall and causes the cell contents of the microorganism to leak out. This results in the death of the microorganism. Resistance formation is therefore not excluded. Alternative use of Halamid is therefore recommended. Use biocides safely. Read the label and product information before use.
