Phosphorus/Calcium Drink
Supplemental feed for cattle for effective supplementation of phosphorus, calcium and energy during periods of increased requirement.
Besides increased demand for calcium in the post-calving period, several studies have shown that blood plasma phosphorus levels are lower than normal in about 80-90% of dairy cows in the post-calving period. This can lead to so-called "downer" cows and problems with starting up.
The Phosphorus/Calcium Drink is easy to administer and supports the cow in maintaining phosphorus levels. It also provides the cow with calcium and energy. Ideal for difficult starting dairy cows after calving!
Recognizers of an immediate phosphorus requirement are
- Cows that lie down a lot ("downer cows")
- Persistent milk fever cases
- Slow cows
- Reduction of rumination
- Failure or inadequate response to infusion delivery

Feeding Advice
Administer the contents of the bottle orally and repeat after 12 hours. If necessary, a bottle can be administered daily for 2-3 days thereafter.
